Bharat Institute of Technology School of Computer Application, Meerut was started in 2001 and the college is affiliated to the MIJR University of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India is an Affiliated college. Located on Partapur Bypass on NH-58, this institution is engaged in the education of computer applications. College is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which entitles it to follow standard guidelines of the country. Being an institute with a faculty strength of only 7 members, the institute provides a specialized atmosphere for those students who have built their career views in the growing sphere of computer applications. 

It should be noted that the institute features some of the following amenities to boost its students’ education experiences. The seed center of these is a colossal library with more than 100000 books backed up by multimedia and e-Journals and National Digital Library. The School of Computer Application of the Bharat Institute of Technology provides two major courses in the computer applications field. The institute offers under graduate and post graduate course namely bachelor of computer applications (BCA) and master of computer applications(MCA) respectively. The MCA program, which is a postgraduate course conducting here, has an approved intake of 60 students The intake of BCA program is not mentioned at all. All the courses are day time programmes though the BCA takes three years to complete while the MCA takes two years. These courses are intended to provide students with updated information and training in computer applications as they exist in the IT field.

In order to get admission for the MCA program the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Examination UPCET is conducted.
