Bharat Raj PG College, Palsana, Sikar, Rajasthan, India, 2006. Located at Palsana NH 11 it is a co educational institution that has been imparting education for more than a decade. Situated in a rather small piece of land of 0.8 acre the college has a wide array of options concerning undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The College at present has a student strength of 713 and faculty of 12 members, where students can concentrate specifically on their studies. As mentioned above the institution provides 7 courses in 4 degree programmes, in arts, sciences, and commerce specialities.

Bharat Raj PG College has various amenities with the purpose of improving the lives of students at the college. The library facility itself is most strategically located with over twenty thousand books better described as resource materials in the senior wing and eleven thousand in the junior wing for reference purposes. The institution provides different hostel facilities for males and females respectively for the convenience of students who live outside the host town. A student is provided with sporting activities to enhance his/her health and unity among the students. This college has every modern infrastructural facility like IT, Physics lab, chemistry Lab, Biology Lab and General Science Lab etc., all these Labs are quite effective for providing practical education. While an auditorium is available for general use and specific events and seminars, along with this, the transport facilities are available for the students and staff.

Bharat Raj PG College conducts a total of 7 courses out of which some are undergraduate and postgraduate level. It provides undergraduate programmes such as, Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Bachelor of commerce (B.Com). However, at the postgraduate level, the college offers the following: Masters of Arts in Hindi, Political Science, Public Administration, Geography and Master of Commerce (M.Com). All the offered courses are full time, regular programmes aimed to give profound knowledge of respective fields. The intaken student capacity of the college is about 713 and there are certain MA programmes which have a fixed intakes per session of forty only.

The admission to all the courses in Bharat Raj PG College is completely based on merit and the students who meet the required merit list are called for counselling. Students seeking admission in undergraduate programmes such as, BA, B.Sc, and B.Com, require passing 12th standard standard as the criteria of admission. You must note that admission criteria for postgraduate programmes for the MA programme are based on the marks one gets in the bachelor’s degree.
