Bharat Sevak Samaj College was established in the year 1959. This co-educational constituent college has been catering to the academic needs of students for a period of more than six decades. The faculty strength is 14 dedicated teachers through whom the college imparts undergraduate courses in varied disciplines, thereby fulfilling the educational aspirations of the students of the region.

The institutions have a plethora of facilities that assist in making the learning process at the college enriching. Of all these, the central hub is made up of the library, started in 1974 with the aid of grants from the university and the state government. It contains a vast collection of several thousand books, periodicals, manuscripts, and rare volumes related to various subjects in Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce, and Humanities. There are enough avenues for sports lovers to involve themselves in physical activities as the college is keen on encouraging students to participate in different tournaments. With an aim to constantly upgrade in technology, the well-equipped computer centre has more than 60 Compaq Pentium-IV systems helping the students to stay updated with the latest in IT infrastructure. 

The courses offered in Bharat Sevak Samaj College add up to 17 across 5 degree programs, all full-time. These range from almost all streams—Arts, Sciences, Computer Applications—to courses in B.A., B.Sc, B.C.A., and honorary programs for those seeking specializations in subjects such as Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
