The college do have basic amenities that. Moreover, they are accessible to students unlike in other colleges, like the lift which we students ourself can use. There are facilities like the hostel accomadation for women which needs to be developed. The library isn't well stocked which needs to updation though there is digital library were we can access books. Itbhas smart board facilities and most of then are well maintained. The college is also modest when it comes to cleanliness.
The best department as far as from my experience in BMC would be the English department. Arts is also much better than Bsc programs. The teachers have a good qualification though at times they lack skills to understand students. Hence, it depends on which course you take.
BMC had an outstanding placement cell which tires its level best to place students in some role or the other. Trainings are provided to upskill ourselves. There are a lot of recruiters coming to the college and conducting placement drives. Packages provided can be improved. But otherwise, the cell performs amazing.
It depends on the course you take as well as the peer group you may have. The teachers especially in self financing blocks and science blocks are really strict which makes it difficult to navigate a day through. You may find issues with attendance if you aren't consistent. Arts program are comparatively better than other program and among it, the English department beats all others
Elections are conducted every year upon which the union is selected. So if the party that has won performs well and bring in program, the college is amazing to be in. During elections one may find too many djs and celebrations as well as during the important days of the union. Apart from that there are celebrities coming to the college for their movie promotion and departmental activities which takes place if your department is initiative. Overall the campus life is nice.
One of the best thing about being in BMC is that you can experience the college showered in Christmas lights and arrangements that look too good at night with the management allowing students to be in the campus till 7 pm during the month of December.
The infrastructure of college is really very good. There are enough libraries. Sports centres are also there. All these facilities are very well maintained. The living spaces are clean and hygienic enough for the students.
Teachers complete full syllabus on time. They provide notes and other study materials as well. The curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in the field. By the end of the course students are job ready.
After I graduated placement cell has been more active. Now the campus placement drive is really good and my juniors have got really good jobs. The salary packages are also average provided in the industry.
Fee for a semester was around 50,000₹. I did my money’s worth. And the fee is average as compared to other college offering the same course. The education provided there was up to the mark. I was paid back in terms of service for the fee I gave.
Campus life is outstanding. Students have full freedom. The vibe there is really good. There are many events and activities all throughout the year. Staff is supportive and students vomnevt to each other very well.
