Bharath Niketan Polytechnic College came into existence in the year 2010 it is an affiliated college situated at Sri Gowri Nagar, Thimmarasanaickanoor, Aundipatty, Theni District, Tamil Nadu. This is a diploma-awarding polytechnic college recognized by the AICTE and the college occupies a total plot area of 5.18 acres. The college has a total of 440 students and there are 46 faculty members who provide an individual studying atmosphere. Currently, Bharath Niketan Polytechnic College offers six diploma courses and this is in the engineering field and they are all full-time courses to enhance the diversification of the students.

Firstly, the Bharath Niketan Polytechnic College has several amenities in facilities which are intended to complement the learning process. Single-sex hostels give students the comfort of distinct hostels for boys and girls with facilities like internet, dining halls and reading halls. As a learning resource centre, the library has a large collection of textbooks, references, magazines, and journals covering all faculties and disciplines. For physical development; the college has organized sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor. This campus had also IT facilities; laboratories for practical sessions and an auditorium with all the necessary amenities to facilitate different programs. For convenience the college provides transport facilities for students & staff, has an edible cafeteria, and a proper parking space.

The six offered diploma courses at Bharath Niketan Polytechnic College are all-day time courses and have a span of three academic years per course. The courses offered in the option focus on several areas of engineering the emphasis being put on Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Agricultural Engineering and Computer Engineering. The total approved intake for these courses is 300 students a year for each of the programs offered; however, the seat allotment may vary. The variety of offers allows a student to select the topic of interest and thus a future profession.
