Bharathidasan College of Arts and Science, Erode (BCAS) is one of the pioneer institutions in the filed of education and was started in the year 1995. This college is an affiliated college situated at Pallapalayam, Erode, Ellispettai, Tamil Nadu. This college has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). BCAS provides 34 courses across 10 degrees to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The college has a total strength of 2293 students and faculty of strength 66 which makes for an effective ratio of students for every teacher. For the postgraduate student, the college offers Master of Arts in English Literature, Master of Science in Computer science, Mathematics and Biochemistry among others. Also, the college offer research through M.Phil and Ph.D in Tamil, English, Commerce and Bio chemistry.
