3. Entrance Exam/Interview: As per the scheme, applicants would have to attend entrance exam/interview and in some schemes for Ph.D. present the research proposal before the board of faculty.
4. Publication of Merit List: Once evaluation process gets completed, BVIMIT puts the merit list of chosen applicants on the website and sends a message through mail or mobile number.
5. Document Verification: The short listed candidates are called to the Institute for verification of originals.
6. Fee Payment: After verification process is successful the candidate has to pay the charges required for seeking admission.
7. Orientation and Commencement: Students usually get an opportunity to attend a kind of Orientation Program before their classes start off.
Degree wise Admission Process
MCA Master of Computer Applications is a full-time two years program in the BVIMIT under an approved strength of 120 students. Being an advanced knowledge-based computer application program, this can be well-directed towards making it ready to stand for the constant demands of IT industries. Eligibility for admitting into the above programs of MCA could always be through merit at any academic level-bachelors degree; and the standard norm at a national or even state level must be entrance examinations scores.
Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Applications: The BVIMIT awards a six-year PhD in Computer Applications. It would allow in-depth research into every aspect of computer applications. Master's degree holder in the related field would get admission in a PhD program, and a shortlisted candidate will be scrutinized on his proposal for research work, academic history, and perhaps an interview test to analyze his research skills.
