One such institute is the Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Kolhapur. It was founded in the year 2001 under the umbrella of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. The college, popularly known as BVCOE Kolhapur, is an AICTE-approved college in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. It offers different types of engineering programmes from its campus, which is spread over 10 acres with a total student enrolment of 963 and a faculty strength of 51.

BVCOE Kolhapur provides admission majorly based on the Centralised Admission Process conducted by state authorities. For B.Tech courses, applicants must appear for the JEE Main or the MHT CET. Applicants for the Diploma and M.Tech courses would be selected based on their merit in qualifying examinations.
