The Bhavani College of Education situated at Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu –Indiawas established in the year 2009 The college is one of the most recognised institutions indulged in training teachers. This affiliated college recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) provide quality education in co- education system. Located at K.N. Pettai, Cuddalore on an area of 1.01 acres, the college has an enrolment capacity of 200 and 12 faculty members. Bhavani College of Education is a progressive educator training college which aims at offering quality Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course which is the only course offered by the College.

The Bhavani College of Education have some facilities which aimed at improving the college’s students learning environment as listed below; Teaching college boasts of a constructed library with resourceful books for learning and teaching purposes for prospective teachers. Affordable practical training format is kept by maintaining of such departmental laboratories where students get practical training in their specialised area. The institution also has and gives emphasis to the aspect of the body providing the students with sporting amenities. Bhavani College of Education offer only one course, the B.Ed course and is a two-year full time programme. The college has an approved capacity of one hundred students for this programme, a factor that the management has considered in a bid to provide the right student teacher ratio that is essential for quality delivery of all courses. This can be seen in the ability of the institution to devote its time and efforts into preparing competent professional educators with capacity to boost the standard of education.

The admission procedure of Bhavani College of Education is solely based on the merit list provided by the state government or Union Territory administration or the university to which the College is affiliated. Students seeking admission into the universities are assessed depending on the qualifying examination and or entrance examination.
