Affiliated college in Chhattisgarh state of India, Bhilai College of Information Technology, Bhilai was started in 2002. Located in Chhattisgarh, Bhilai being the hub of this demanding profession, this institution offers teacher education. The college located in a small area covering an area of 0.262 acres is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), thus imparting the quality education in teaching field. Managed by the Ministry of Education, the College has 258 students enrol at the moment, and 20 members of the teaching staff.

Bhilai College of Information Technology was presented with numerous facilities that are intended to supplement the education of their learners. The college currently offers two full-time courses. Two year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed) programme having hundred students intake and Two year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme for fifty students intake. These courses and degrees are intended to prepare students for what they need to know in the sphere of education.

Admission of the candidates in Bhilai College of Information Technology is done on the basis of their performance in the qualifying exam and the entrance test. The college operates under certain admission regulations as provided by the state government/Union Territory administration and affiliated university.
