     Generally, when you compare these two colleges, BIT durg would be the best option rather than choosing BIT Raipur. Since, every college has its pros and cons, but BIT Raipur is a bit strict and also has good facilities as well. Although, BIT durg would be the best option and way better. And, most of the private universities are far better than the BIT Raipur. I would recommend to visit the college, so that you'll have a clear idea.

In the last placement session of the year about 80 to 90 percent students were placed from cse/it. And the average package was about 3 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. From mechanical branch few students were placed at TCS. Many students here prepare for GATE so they are trying for PSUs.

As per the previous years cutoff trends of CGPET for BIT Durg I can say that with your mentioned open category rank you will not get seat in BIT Durg in CSE but you can other branches there like 

• Civil engineering
• Electronics & Telecommunications
• Electrical

However you can get  a CSE seat if you reserved category quota.

If you have your OBC certificate then you can claim a seat in under OBC category in that case your OBC rank will be used and if you apply for counselling under unreserved category then your CML rank will be used to allocate you a seat.

Ad per the previous year cut off trends of CGPET for your mentioned Colleges i.e. Government engineering college raipur and Bhilai Institute of Technology, Raipur I can say that you can not get a seat in Government Engineering College, Raipur  but you have very good chance in Bhilai Institute of Technology, Raipur.

Fee structure for CSE stream in BIT Durg is as follows:

Admission is about 1000 and 30,000 per semester.And other charges are 1200.For first year it is 64,400 ,for 2nd year it is 62,400 and for the next years it is 62,400.Total which is almost 2,52,000.These are only the tutition fees.For more information and download of brochure you may visit the link below.I hope it helped

yes you can vidhi... 1 round cut off has been closed  but the closing rank for 2 round is 789. so you can apply in the BIT DURG in your preferred stream.  you have chances of getting admission in BItS.. so apply soon Till thr second round closes... all the very best

Your rank should be below 1000. People who got below 1000 they definetly get an admission in that college. This information is given based on previous years college allotment. It will change based on your selected branch. Some branches have high cutoff some have low cutoff. Try well.
