About SSN College of Engineering
SSN College of Engineering, Kalavakkam is an autonomous university which was established in 1996. Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering provides courses consist of undergraduate (B.E/B.Tech), & B.Tech M.Tech and postgraduate programmes (M.E/M.Tech) & MBA in various fields. The college is affiliated to Anna University.
The admissions to B.Tech programmes are done based on the candidate’s performance in Class 12. Interested candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria and participate in the TNEA counselling session conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu. GATE and Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) scores are accepted for admissions to M.Tech programmes.
As per the official website, the SSN College of Engineering highest salary package offered was Rs 1.17 Crore per annum and the second highest salary package stood at Rs 84.24 Lakh per annum. The college has great infrastructure and provides the students with all facilities such as good computer labs, projectors in classrooms, sports and gym facilities , library , printing room and more. Yes a bio student can definitely persue BTech in cse branch, there is no restriction to it.
You can pursue B. Tech in computer Science after 12th if you have Maths in Class 12th.
All BIPC/Biology students are eligible to get admission in Engineering courses such as Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ECE, EEE etc.
