Bhim Rao Ambedkar Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya, Maharajganj was established as a co-educational institution in Dhaneva Dhanei, Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh in the year 2009. The college boasts of having a campus area of 2 acres and remains one of the best atmospheres for higher education. Now, the rolls of the college stand at 132 students, and the strength of the faculty is 21; hence the student-to-teacher ratio is quite satisfactory. There are three undergraduate programmes for degrees, and it caters to diversified academic interests in the streams of arts, commerce, and science.

The institution ensures that all facilities that could enrich the learning experience of students would be provided. The library acts as a hub of knowledge with a wide array of resources to fuel academia. The college has also set up departmental laboratories so that students can get practical experience of the theoretical knowledge gained. Since the institution is fully aware that an all-round development is essential, it provides sports facilities for maintaining physical health and developing team spirit among the students. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya offers three full-time undergraduate programs at the degree level: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, and Bachelor of Science. All these courses are for three years each. 

The admission process in Bhim Rao Ambedkar Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya is inclusive and merit-based. However it consider the performance of the candidate in their qualifying examination in 10+2 or any equivalent examination and entrance test at the state level, if needed.
