This co-educational college has been shaping its future teachers for more than a decade. Affiliated with the University of Burdwan and recognized by the NCTE, this college offers its programs at the national standard. Within a self-contained area of 0.62986 acres, 200 students are enrolled every academic year with 19 strong faculty members.  Bijoy Pal Memorial B.Ed. College has only one full-time course in its concern and that is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program under Teacher Education. This is a two-year program with an approved intake of 100 students per year, which narrows down to the concern of carrying out education service with the least number on a quality basis.

Bijoy Pal Memorial B.Ed. College shall admit students to its programme following the policies strictly as laid down by the state government, UGC, and the affiliated university. Admissions are made on the basis of merit, i.e., marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, or through other selection processes specifically designed by the state and university.
