Binod Bihari Mahato Memorial Teachers Training College, Affiliated college in the year 2012 at Sahubahiyar, Topchanchi, Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Situated in 79 acre campus this co–educational institution is designed to produce future educators. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college imparts two B.ED specializations. Binod Bihari Mahato Memorial Teachers Training College looks after two full-time courses in teacher education. B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses are of two years duration each with a sanctioned strength of one hundred students each. This increases seat capacity across both programmes to 200. These courses prepare the students for the teaching professionals in various levels of the education settings.
Here admission of any institution depends on the course although in Binod Bihari Mahato Memorial Teachers Training College there are some differences between the various courses. For the B.Ed programme, they must be a post graduate or graduate from recognised university having minimum 50% marks in graduation (45% for ST/SC/OBC) in any discipline.
