Birendra Deepak Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is situated in Jamgaon, Chhattisgarh, and has been exclusively promoting teacher education. It was started in 2012 and has been preparing teachers for the future educational needs for over 10 years. The institute located in Kurukshetra in a campus of 6 acres education offers B.Ed programme which is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college enables a student enrolment of 100 with the faculty of 11 that will help the college retain a healthy student-teacher ratio which will offer quality education and individual attention. 

Birendra Deepak Shiksha Mahavidyalaya equipped with a number of facilities that aims to support the teaching and learning process of the students. A standard library plays this role of providing knowledge while departmental smart laboratories play the other role of enabling practice. The campus has built boys and girls hostels to accommodate the students and give them comfortable living standards. For concerns with regard to the health of each learner, the college offers sports amenities, as well as a health clinic with an infirmary. The dependant LO3, auditorium: The auditorium is used in conducting of various event and seminars hence creating an active campus life. Besides, the college has also adopted a good IT system, and offer its students the taste of the new age education that uses computers.

At present, Birendra Deepak Shiksha Mahavidyalaya has a full time B.Ed course with an approved strength of 100 students. This is a two-year course whose ultimate goal is to produce better teachers who will fit the new challenging teaching professions. This programme provides students with both the theory and the practice, which will help them when they enter modern schools. The college offers only this one degree programme but with an emphasis on quality rather than quantity in preparing teachers. 

The criteria followed in the admission process of Birendra Deepak Shiksha Mahavidyalaya includes, marks scored in the qualifying test and/or entrance test. Admission procedures at the college are regulated by admission policies of the state government, as well as the affiliated university. This will allow for a process of reasonable and deserving manner by which potential teacher candidates are recruited.
