Birendra Deepak Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, the college is situated at Jamgaon, Chhattisgarh, has been exclusively promoting teacher education. It was started in 2012 and has been preparing teachers for the future educational needs for over 10 years. The institute located at Kurukshetra in a campus of 6 acres education offers B.ED program which is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college enables a student intake of 100 with the faculty of 11 that will help the college retain a healthy student-teacher ratio which will offer quality education and individual attention. 

The college equipped with a number of facilities that aims to support the teaching and learning process of the students. A standard library plays this role of providing knowledge while departmental smart laboratories play the other role of enabling practice. The campus has built boys and girls hostels to accommodate the students and give them comfortable living standards. This is a two-year course whose ultimate goal is to produce better teachers who will fit the new challenging teaching professions. Currently the college offers only this one degree program, but with an emphasis on quality rather than quantity in preparing teachers.
