Maharaja sayajirao university of Baroda or MSU is really a a very good government college. It accepts GUJCET ranks for admission. And the cutoff is very high. Admission in Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM) for B. Tech is done through entrance  examination called Gujarat Common Entrance  Test (GUJCET), conducted by GSEB and yes 60:40 ration of 12 marks and GUJCET marks is taken into consideration for admission into the college.

For getting a very good college a decent one, you need to score around 105 and above marks out of 120 in the GUJCET. The syllabus for both of these exams boards and gujcet is almost similar enough just the approach is different. So study very smartly. And if you prepare well for gujcet, scoring a decent percentage in the range of 85-90+ will be quite easy for you.

You can get admission in DDIT through JEE mains. You don't have to give GUJCET for that.
But for MSU, you need GUJCET scores. They don't accept JEE mains scores.
In NIRMA you can take admission through JEE mains or GUJCET, any one of these will do.

Also, BVM admission are don't through GUJCET. For all the institute stated above, you only need one of the entrance exam as mentioned, either JEE or GUJCET. Other than that, your 10+2 scores are required. You must meet the qualification criteria for eligibility.

The highest package offered in electrical engineering in Svnit was 11lpa by HPCL whereas the highest package offered in bvm for electrical was 6lpa by L&T Hazira.

Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya, Anand is an average college so placement are not very good there but the average salary package is somewhere near 3 LPA.

For PDPU last year, the highest package an electrical engineer got is Rs. 5,50,000 per annum.

In Nirma, the highest package offered was Rs. 12 lakhs per annum.

As the salary package completely depends upon the aspirant and their skills, the package offers keep changing every year.
