BITS Law School, Mumbai provide scholarships to students on the basis of merit, financial capability, special needs, as well as scholarships to ensure diversity in gender and geography. Before applying for BITS Law School scholarships, candidates must ensure that they meet the required eligibility criteria. To avail BITS Law School scholarship, students must be a citizen of India, completed grade 10th and grade 12th from a recognised board, received an offer of admission from BITSLAW for law programmes and meet the specific mandated criteria mentioned against each category.
BITS Law School scholarships are G.D. Birla Scholarship for Legal Studies, K.K. Birla Scholarship for Legal Studies, Sarala Birla Scholarship for Legal Studies, Merit & Means Based Scholarship, Academic Merit Scholarship and Diversity Scholarship. The school awards three special Birla Scholarships for Legal Studies will be awarded to four law aspirants who are offered admission to BITSLAW:

The following law entrance test scores will be considered for this scholarship – CLAT, LSAT-India and MH CET Law. |
Sarala Birla Scholarship for Legal Studies | 75% tuition fee waiver | This scholarship will be awarded to one meritorious woman student who is passionate about being a change-maker through legal research and/or law practice. |
Merit & Means Based Scholarship | 90% tuition fee waiver | This scholarship is for those students whose annual family income (parents’/guardians’) must not be more than Rs. 18,00,000. The merit of the student will be assessed through their BITS Law School application form, including co/extra-curricular achievements and personal interview. |
Academic Merit Scholarship | 75% tuition fee waiver | This scholarship will be given to selective students who have good academic performance in their board exams i.e. board toppers in grade 12, have performed well in a law entrance test, and have displayed noteworthy co/extra-curricular achievements. The law entrance tests considered for this scholarship are: BITS Law Admissions Test, CLAT, LSAT-India, AILET and MH CET Law. All students are considered by default for this scholarship. |
Diversity Scholarship | 75% tuition fee waiver | This scholarship will be awarded to exceptional women and third-gender students (Transgender, Genderfluid, Gender Non-Binary, Gender Non-Confirming, and Gender Queer persons), students from underrepresented regions (includes but may not be limited to – Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Jammu & Kashmir, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Puducherry, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, and Sikkim) and students with physical disabilities. |
