Biyani School of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences is affiliated college and was set up in the year of 2011 in Jaipur of Rajasthan. Also it is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), which is the essential factor for the quality educational system in nursing. Located at sector – 3 Vidhyadhar nagar the college provides a selective and limited number of courses in nursing. There are 153 students enrolled in total at the Institute, however, it has 23 faculty members that enable the students to have a more enhanced learning environment to become professional health care workers. The college currently offers two full-time degree programmes: B.Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), which are courses to those students, who are willing to take up their career in the nursing profession.
Accompanying the academic programme of the Biyani School of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences provides a number of resources meant to improve the learning process and personal growth of learners. The campus is also has equipped laboratories with sophisticated instruments that ensure students have real life practice in biotechnology and other related fields. The college library contains more than 62000 quality books which can effectively serve the students needs in their academic activities. For boarding purpose, there are two hostel blocks referred as ‘Mother Teresa’ and ‘Priyadarshini’ which contain comparatively spacious, well illuminated and well ventilated separate rooms for boys & girls with bathroom and toilet integrated facility. The campus also comprises of an Auditorium for events, seminars & guest lectures, hygienic Cafeteria, indoor/ outdoor Playground, and a modern Gymnasium for encouraging the students for Physical activities.
Biyani School of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences offers two primary nursing courses: Two of them are B.Sc Nursing and GNM which stands for General Nursing and Midwifery. While B.Sc Nursing is a four-year full time course, GNM is a 3 years full time course of study. It currently has an approved capacity to admit 40 students for each programme, giving a total of 80 students for the two programmes. These programmes are aimed at delivering tons of theoretical information and hands-on experience required in delivering quality nursing services.
The admission procedure at Biyani School of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences is also different in terms of the course. For the B.Sc Nursing programme the admission is taken on the counselling done by our own university or through the counselling conducted by the Private Nursing Council.
