Blessy College of Education, a prominent Institution started during the academic year 2008-2009 situated at Cuddalore of the Tamil Nadu state. This co-educational college is located on a large plot of 6 acre and aims at producing intellectual educators. Being an affiliated college, it enjoys the umbrella of a university and thus it has to maintain and embrace set academic standards. Our college is duly recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which speaks volumes about the kind of teacher education afforded to this college. At present the college has 135 students and there are 14 faculties in Blessy College of Education which makes it have a good number of students per teacher.

The Blessy College of Education owns a number of facilities that are intended to Support student experience throughout his academic study. Those into sports can enjoy using the attractive sports amenities, while those into social events have the auditorium to conduct their meetings or seminars. Blessy College of Education currently offers one primary course: The Bachelors degree in Education is known as Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a full time course and it takes two years to complete with an approved capacity of one hundred students intake. The B.Ed programme is a professional course which prepares teachers to play and function effectively in the teaching fraternity. Although the college offering this is a central teacher training programme, it shows that it has an interest of offering quality education in teacher preparation.
