BN Degree College, Shahabad, was established in 2000 as an affiliated college with campus area 20 acres at Hardoi in Uttar Pradesh. The college has under its credit 17 courses at the degree level for 12 different programs. It has a total enrollment of 349 and a faculty strength of 26, keeping in favor of this college with a good student-teacher ratio.

Besides these, the college offers postgraduate programmes like MA in Urdu and Geography and M.Sc in Chemistry. D.El.Ed. programme can admit 50 students.

Admissions at BN Degree College differs from various courses. Admissions at the B.Ed and Med courses are based on merit; marks in the qualifying examination and entrance examination are evaluated based on the state government and university policies. An applicant for an MBA program must hold a 3 years' Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in the case of reserved categories). Admissions in the D.El.Ed course are conducted on a merit basis, considering the marks at the qualifying examination and other selection criteria which may be laid down by the State Government/UT Administration.
