One of the major educational institutions functioning in Bongaigaon, Assam, Bongaigaon B.Ed. College was established in the year 1990. This is a co-educational institution, and the college is affiliated with and recognised by NCTE. The campus area is 1 acre in extent, with two undergraduate degree courses and a total intake capacity of 195. There are 17 dedicated teachers for an amicable student-to-teacher ratio. The Bongaigaon B.Ed. College offers two full-time courses viz., a two-year B.Ed. It offers both a two-year B.Ed. program and a three-year BA General programme. The mainstay of the college, the B.Ed. course, has an approved enrolment of 100 students, while the BA General programme has provisions for 120 students. In this way, it caters to both would-be teachers and those interested in obtaining a general arts education. The total student enrolment is as much as the sanctioned enrolment of 195 students, proving the demand for its programs to be uniform. 

The admission procedure followed by the Bongaigaon B.Ed. College is transparent and merit-based.
