Bongaigaon Polytechnic, established in 1986, is one of the premier technical institutes in Bongaigaon. This affiliated college was approved by AICTE and offers quality education in engineering streams. The institute has a sprawling 97-acre campus with an atmosphere congenial for learning and growth. With a total enrolment of 320 students and a faculty strength of 9, personal care and attention are assured to each of its students at Bongaigaon Polytechnic. The institute offers three specialized diploma courses in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Automobile Engineering.

The departmental library, which covers an area of 302 square meters, has a wide range of resources with a comfortable reading facility accommodating 25 students at a time.
