The admission is mostly through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination conducted by BCECE. This exam is the gate pass to aspirants who regularly enroll in the different engineering disciplines under the programs offered by BPCE in its campus. BCECE is conducted at the state level, scheduled normally in April or May of every year. 100% student population of BPMCE is from Bihar state itself, which by itself becomes a highlight of the significant role the college plays in the local student community in delivering quality technical education.
