The Pre-Matric, Post Matric And Merit-Cum-Means Based Scholarship Schemes For Minorities (Under Ministry Of Minority Affairs)

Candidates should have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in their previous examination. The annual income of their parents should not be more than Rs 2.5 lakhs.

Pragati Scholarship Schemes for Girl Students

This scholarship is given to upto two girls per family. The annual family income of their parents should be less than Rs 8 lakhs.

Tuition Fee of Rs.30,000/- or at actual, whichever is less and Rs. 2000/- per month for 10 months as incidentals each year.

Saksham Scholarships for Specially Abled Children

This scholarship is given to specially-abled students having disability of not less than 40%. The annual family income of their parents should be more than Rs 8 lakhs.

Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme (PMSS)

Candidates should be a dependent ward/widow of deceased CAPFs & AR/ Ex-CAPFs & AR/ retired and serving CAPFs & AR/ State Police Personnel. Candidates pursue professional courses and should be currently be in class 12th/diploma/graduation. Candidates should have completed a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

Rs 2,500 per month for boys and Rs 3,000 per month for girls.

Swami-Vivekananda Merit-Cum -Means Scholarship Scheme (Govt. Of WB)

Students should be a pass out in the year 2020 or 2021 with a minimum of 60% marks in last qualification and 75% marks for previous qualified candidates. 60% marks in diploma course, 50% marks in graduation and 55% marks in graduation. The annual income of the family should not be more than Rs 2,50,000.

Aikyashree Scholarship Schemes

Candiate should be a domicile of West Bengal and must be studying in institute recognised by an educational Board/Council/ University of the State/ Central Government. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their previous qualification. The annual income of the family should not be more than Rs 2 lakhs. 

Rs 1,100 to Rs 11,000 per year for Pre-Matric students i.e class 1st to class 10th.

Rs 10,200 to Rs 16,500 per year for Post-Matric students i.e class 12th to PhD.

Rs 22,000 to Rs 33,000 per year for Merit-cum-Merit means scholarship. (Technical and Professional Course students).

Oasis Scholarship

This scholarship is given to SC/ST/OBC candidates who are permanent residents of West Bengal. For SC/ST students the annual family income should not be more than Rs 2.5 LPA and should not be more than 1 LPA for OBC students.

West Bengal Chief Minister Relief Fund (Nabanna) Scholarship

Students should be permanent resident of West Bengal. Candidates should have completed their last qualification from a recognised institute in West Bengal. Students must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in class 10th exam and class 12th exam and 50% marks in graduation. The annual family income of the student should not be more than Rs 1.2 LPA.

Kannyashree Prakalpa

Candidates must be domicile of West Bengal and a Merit rank in State Level/National Level Entrance Examination. The annual family income of these candidates should not be more than Rs 2.5 LPA.

Rs 750 annual incentive which is paid annual to the girls of age between 13 to 18 equivalent to studying in class 8th and above provided that every year they remain in education unmarried.

One time grant of Rs 25,000 is paid to a girl after 18 years of age provided she is engaged in academic or professional pursuit while remaining unmarried.

Jharkhand E-Kalyan Scholarship

Candidate should be a domicile or permanent resident of Jharkhand and belong to SC/ST/BC caste. They must be studying in institute recognised by the Government of Jharkhand. The annual family income of SC/ST candidates should not be more than Rs 2.5 lakhs and Rs 1 lakhs for BC candidates.

Bihar Postmatric Scholarship

This scholarship is given to permanent residents of Bihar state and candidates that belong to BC/MBC/SC/ST caste. In the post-matric scholarship scheme only the students above studying above class 10th are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The annual family income of the candidates should not be more than Rs 2.5 LPA.

Merit-Cum-Means G.P. Birla Scholarship

This scholarship is given to candidates who have passed class 12th in 2021 with a minimum of 85% marks from WBCHSE and 90% marks from CBSE/ICSE boards. The annual family income of the students should be less than Rs 3 LPA. 

Scholarship amount will be granted to selected students will cover tuition and hostel fees upto Rs 50,000 per year with additional one time payment of Rs 7,000 for purchase of books in the first year.

Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship

Given the candidates who are employed with Rs 4 LPA and  Rs 2.5 LPA for all others. The qualifying percentage is 65% for Boys and 60% for Girls. The application is not accepted for final year students of 3 years or longer duration course. The scholarship is given till the candidate reaches the age of 30.

Rs 2,000 for Boys and Rs 2,300 for girls with Rs 1,800 for the students staying in hostel.
