BR College of Education, Mahendragarh was established in the year 2008, as the leading teacher training institution in Haryana, India. This co-educational institute is affiliated with the State University and has gained much fame for its mission of preparing the future teachers. It has two courses in Education with an intake capacity of 194, spread over a compact 1-acre campus. BR College of Education has a staff strength of 8 dedicated faculty members who can ensure individualized attention and quality instruction for students. The institute is recognized by NCTE, thus indicating that it follows national standards for teacher education.

This college has a number of facilities to augment the learning processes of its students. One such facility is that of the library with more than 3,500 books covering various fields in education. In fact, it's quite a knowledge hub as far as teachers-to-be are concerned. Its allegiance to technology can be known from the fact that it houses a state-of-the-art computer centre complete with 30 high-end computers with internet connectivity through high-speed lines. The college has well-equipped science laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, a Social Studies lab, and an Educational Technology lab for hands-on learning. Besides these, the facilities provided include sports, a medical room with a full-time nurse and a qualified medical officer, and a spacious seminar hall that accommodates academic discussions and events. Added to these are the college canteen and facilities for transport that contribute to comforts for comfortable campus life.

BR College of Education imparts two regular courses on education: two-year B.Ed with the intake of 100 students for preparing the graduate students fit to teach the secondary schools and D.El.Ed also for two years meant for primary education. The theory as well as practical teaching skills would keep such a nice balance in the course that the graduating student would have all the weapons upfront while entering the role of an educator.                                           

 Admissions to BR College of Education are done based on merit and the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and/or entrance examinations. As for B.Ed., the institution follows the admission policy as instructed by the State Government, UT administration, or affiliated University. The same applies to the D.El.Ed. course, whose mode of admission is directed by the State Government or UT administration.
