BR Gautam Polytechnic Institute is an affiliated college which offers technical education in Jaunpur of Uttar Pradesh. Located In Rajapur, Rampur of Jaunpur district, the institute has a variety of diploma courses in various fields of engineering. Even the year of inception has not been mentioned but still, BR Gautam Polytechnic has emerged as a prominent institute of the region. AICTE, New Delhi also recognizes it, which means the college follows every technical education guideline in the country. 

The institute comprises of a host of facilities fully facilitated to improve the learning capabilities of the students. The library plays a role of a center where students can access many sources of academic work and special reference books. For the purpose of training, the BR Gautam Polytechnic has separate department wise laboratories which facilitate the students to apply the learnt theory practically. The college also boasts of strong IT facilities that of making students acquaintances with various modern technologies. At present, BR Gautam Polytechnic Institute has designed three full time diploma courses that take a total of three years to complete. Such academic offerings are offered at the institute namely Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and Diploma in Mechanical Automobile Engineering. These programs are designed to offer a place for 150 students in various engineering directions reaching to the institute. Civil and Electrical Engineering been given an intake capacity of 60 students each in a year while Mechanical Automobile Engineering been given an intake capacity of 30 students in a year. 

The admission policy for BR Gautam Polytechnic Institute is developed to be very friendly to individuals interested in engineering. As for the entrance tests it’s mentioned that polytechnic institutes may review the state entrance tests or consider the merit list.
