Brahmanand College, Kanpur was established in 1961 and is one of the top educational hubs in the heart of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The affiliated college has been functioning over a compact 1.36-acre campus for over six decades. The NACC accredited Brahmanand College offers varied curricular options through 21 courses in 6 degree programs to enrolled 4,202 learners. The strength of the faculty of 57 dedicated educators ensures a favourable student teacher ratio.

Admission is purely done on the basis of merit. The candidate's performance of the score in the qualifying exams are taken under the consideration as to judge them. In the undergraduation level courses namely, B.Sc and B.Com, admissions in the college are solely done on the basis of merit list drawn out by the authorities of the college. The same holds for M.Sc and M.Com postgraduate programs as well.
