The BSK College, Sahebganj was set up in 1978 in Barharwa, Sahibganj, Jharkhand and has since risen to become one of the biggest learning institutions in the region. Located on a 5.625 acre campus, this constituent college was recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). BSK College has an overall student enrolment of 4441 and faculty of 33 members with 25 courses spread out in seven degree programmes. 

BSK College has all the facilities required to promote student academic success and overall development to enable them achieve their vision. The library is a central facility of the institution where both traditional and technological collection are provided. It conducts reading resources of Book, Magazine, Journal and Newspapers, e-Libray of INFLIBNET, and miscellaneous resources of web. There is also a separate research section with extensive references for teachers and undergraduate students in the library. As for the practical skills, the college provides departmental laboratories for learners with all necessary equipment. In order to keep fit and also engage in other sporting activities students can have direct access to the various sporting facilities. It also has hostels of events and seminars and an auditorium as well to create an active college atmosphere. First aid facilities in a health center and modern infrastructural facilities for Information Technology in learning processes make education worth it. Other facilities are Cafeteria, Gym, Hostel for Boy’s & Girls; all these elements collectively made the accommodation of residential students quite comfortable.
