BSR College of Education, Pamuru, was established in the year 2016. Affiliated to the same, in the Pamuru NGO's Colony, it has developed real fast to emerge into a cornerstone for aspiring teachers. BSR College of Education is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education to offer a focused curriculum in teacher training. The college has a total student enrolment of 33 and is a co-educational institution, thereby providing an individual learning atmosphere. At present, it offers two specialised degree programmes relating to different areas of teacher education and maintains a well-balanced student-to-teacher ratio in order to ensure the standard of instruction. 

The facilities available in this college are at best to provide an added advantage in the learning curves of its students. It is a knowledge hub, fully available to the students for educational resources and literature. To cope with the modern days' demand in education, BSR College of Education has established excellent IT infrastructure enabling the students to learn the use of technology to integrate it into education. The college organises sports facilities with the purpose of developing skills in physical fitness and team building among the prospective educators. Besides, the college has well-equipped laboratories that help in providing practical learning experiences that are core in the professional training of teachers. 

BSR College of Education runs two full-time courses, both being two years: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The intake capacity for both programmes is 100 seats each, thereby showing the potential of the institute to groom a substantial number of prospective teachers. This way, the college can pay special attention to teacher training at different educational levels.

Admission details of BSR College of Education is merit-seeker-friendly and inclusive in approach. Admission to the programme B.Ed will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test, if any, conducted. The college may also consider any other selection process as per the policy of the state government or UT administration and the university. Admission to D.El.Ed would be merit-based by marks of qualifying examination and/or results of entrance exams.
