BSS Mahila Mahavidyalaya College is a women’s college located in Dhanbad, Jharkhand India was established in 1977. This affiliated college is located on a 5 acre sprawling campus and has been accredited from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institution which admits students in the amount of 2340 has 41 faculty members, and delivers 22 programmes of 5 courses. 

The college has amenities, that not only support the learning process and education of the students but also can benefit them in their youthful and formative years. situated on the ground floor in the academic block the school has a rich collection of over 60000 books, periodicals and journals. This is done and controlled by professional staff and updated periodically, with new stock or modifications. In addition, college has adequate laboratory facilities for practical exposures, a sprawling hall with a tin roof perfect and adequately furnished for accommodating 500 students for cultural programmes, seminar or other activities and games and sports amenities indoor and outdoor games. For girls who study from other towns, the college offers hostel accommodation for their stay.
