The college was established in 2009. BTPSP Belgaum is approved by AICTE and is affiliated with the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore. The college offers diplomas in polytechnic courses in multiple specialisations. Candidates seeking admission must fulfil the eligibility criteria of BTPSP Belgaum and must score at or above the BTPSP SSLC cutoff to move further in the admission process. All the courses are offered in fulltime mode. Eligible candidates will then be called by the college for document verification along with other mandatory admission processes at the time of counselling the candidates are requested to carry all the required documents (photocopies along with the original) to get their seats reserved. The examination and seat allotment processes at BTPSP Belgaum are overseen and meticulously managed by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB), ensuring transparency and fairness in the allocation of seats, and allowing students to secure their places with confidence. BTPSP Belgaum has various facilities and infrastructure for the students, faculty, and staff.
