BTL Institute of Technology and Management (BTLITM) started in 1997 is one of the famous educational institution located in Bangalore, Karnataka. Located at Bommasandra Industrial Estate, it is one of the largest affiliated college spread over about 25 acres of land. BTLITM provides diverse engineering programmes, including 4 classes under one degree type. This institute is home to the current student population of 361 and faculty of 48 members. 

BTL Institute of Technology and Management boasts of having provided a wide range of services aimed at improving the institution’s learning environment. Each academic department has its well-equipped laboratory for practical skills development in the campus. A modern 540 sq.m. library designed as an information center contains 19682 books, 6,692 unique titles, and 35 domestic and foreign publications. The hostel for residing students in BTLITM has separate sections for boys and girls which are well equipped with all modern facilities, solar heated water, round the clock Wi-Fi democratised. It also has spacious gym with a timetable for both sexes with respect to their seclusion policies intended for training, development as well as to enhance health of the students besides focusing on their academic health.

BTLITM is a full- fledged engineering college offering four B.Tech programmes for a duration of four years in each of the programme. Such programmes include B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. 

The admission criteria used by BTL Institute of Technology and Management to give admission to the students are entrance examinations. The institute accepts scores from two major entrance tests: The two examinations taken by the candidates are the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test better known as COMEDK UGET and the Karnataka Common Entrance Test otherwise known as KCET.
