Buddh Mahavidyalaya, Deoria was established in the year 1997 and is an affiliated college with its principal location at Ratsiya Kothi, Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. A UGC-approved institution, it offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses having been sanctioned by the National Council for Teacher Education. It has 37 dedicated teachers involved in the institution, which supports overall development among students. The Buddh Mahavidyalaya offers five different courses running under its banner, catering to varied academic interests and goals pertaining to careers.

Budd Mahavidyalaya is enthusiastic about the all-round development of students' personalities and provides all types of infrastructures that can be held essential for quasi-total growth and development. The Buddhist Mahavidyalaya provides all such facilities: a well-stocked library with relevant academic resources, sports facilities to inculcate physical fitness and a sense of teamwork, and modern I.T. infrastructure to help students keep pace with the changing technological scenario. Furthermore, it will reach the medical and hospital facilities for the students. All these facilities merge together and provide a fully comprehensive educational environment that would develop both the students academically and in person.

There are five full-time courses in Buddh Mahavidyalaya, Deoria. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in all. Undergraduate courses are BA and B.Com of three years. For students who wish to pursue higher education, the college provides two-year postgraduate programmes in Master of Commerce and Master of Arts in Hindi. The College also offers two-year B.Ed. programme for those who wish to make a teaching career. The B.Ed. program is duly approved with an intake of 100 seats, which shows the institute's involvement in teacher education.

The mode of admission to Buddh Mahavidyalaya is different for different courses. For admission to B.Ed, admission will be based on merit, marks obtained in the last qualifying and/or entrance examination. The process of selection would be primarily affected by the policies of the state government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated university.
