In 2010, Capital Engineering College Bhubaneswar, was established and is autonomous. The college is approved as per AICTE norms and is a Co-Ed Institution. The college is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to students who want to pursue in the fields of Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Production Engineering Management, Business Administration and others.

Capital Engineering College Bhubaneswar, also called CEC, Bhubaneswar, courses include B.E/B.Tech., M.C.A and M.B.A. Admission into these courses is given based on the scores acquired by the students in the JEE-Main/OJEE exams.
