Cauvery B.Ed. College was started in the year 2004 to become one of the best institutions offering teacher training located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Located at 3/1, Kodigehalli main road, 60 feet road saahakaranagar, it is a co-educational college nestled in an area of about 2 acres. The NCTE, the National Council for Teacher Education has accredited it due to which it is an affiliated college that delivers quality education for the field of teaching. Totally, Cauvery B.Ed. College adopts the capacity of 100 students and 8 faculties which provide a very congenial atmosphere for the students who dream of being teachers in the future.

It has made the college proud through the availability of a number of facilities that would help make learning a more enjoyable experience for the students it is made up of. The rich library resources include textbooks, reference books and reputed national and international journals, periodicals, etc. The college is fully equipped with play grounds for the sports lovers, facilities for various hall indoor games for those who are interested in both sports and academics. They are well developed and well equipped laboratories which are designed to meet all the standards of modern laboratories. 

In accordance with the development of technology, the college is fitted with modern Computer Laboratory having well equipped computer systems, interconnectivity and power backups. Other facilities are adequate parking space, canteen where vends beverages and snacks, and a health unit with a first aid section. For its information, the college does offer hostels for male and female students with adequate facilities appropriate for students who come from far off places.

At present, Cauvery B.Ed. College only has one main course - the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). It is a two-year full-time course being designed producing competent and dedicated teachers. At the college, there is fixed student enrollment of 100 for this program because the college has always been concerned on quality education with full and effective student-chretaization. Of course, ideal number of graduates for the latest year is still unknown, but the care for proper student-teacher ratio when entering the college indicates the strong intention to provide each learner with proper support and guidance all through the educational process.

The admission process followed in Cauvary B.ED College is completely following the government and university rules and regulation of the respective state, UT and university to which it is affiliated to. Courses offered: Based on merit, with due consideration given to the scores in the qualifying examination as well as the entrance examination. The college may also use other methods of selecting staff as may be prescribed by the policies current at the time.
