Cauvery College of Life Science and Management, Mysuru: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Cauvery College of Life Science and Management, Mysuru is therefore as relatively new institution founded only in 2019 in the state of Karnataka. It is affiliated college based in the historical city of Mysuru and it provides specialisation in Life Sciences. As this college is relatively still young, it has set its bases with a balanced and straight-degree structure and highly concerned faculty. Currently the institution provides only three programs at the undergraduate level all of which have been awarded the Bachelor of Science degree There are total seven members of the faculty. It is a co-educational institution which makes it appropriate for students from all over with diversified gender.

The college has developed numerous amenities aimed to improve the Colleges learning environment and provide for academic productivity. For the students who need some sort of help, separately there are boys’ and girls ’hostels which provides comfortable and airy rooms, constant electricity supply with a backup and security 24/7. Every classroom can hold students from four and has all the necessary furniture installed. 

For academic research and learning the college offers Wi-Fi facilities on college days only. One of the most important ones is a school library containing more than 30 000 books, journals and newspapers as well as number of on-line facilities. It also has carrels for individual studies, study booths and separate study rooms for group work and a silent study area.

As to the academic programs provided, Cauvery College of Life Science and Management is oriented on three main spheres of life science. The college currently offers three full-time Bachelor of Science programs: food science and nutrition, biochemistry, and microbiology, in which the degree granted is Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). These programs are aimed at the successful outcome, in which students obtain the basic knowledge in respective fields so they may continue their work in life sciences or further their education after graduation. It is impossible to estimate student intake and graduation rates but the existence of this college specialising in certain fields proves its desire to deliver quality education in certain subject matters.

The college also has strength in life sciences, therefore the institution is suitable for students with the passion to study these field as they will be included in the specialized environment.

Nevertheless, being one of the relatively young institutions, Cauvery College of Life Science and Management still has no a very rich history. By offering quality education and ensuring individual attention to students in its state–of–the–art infrastructure, the college is to prepare a new generation of life science professionals in the centre of Mysuru.
