CD Jain College of Commerce in Ahmednagar, located in Shrirampur, Maharashtra, was established in 1962. It is an affiliated NAAC-accredited college that delivers a host of Commerce and Computer Application courses to its students. The college has a 16-acre large campus and a total of 1,867 students, including 993 male and 963 female students, and so maintains the sex ratio on the campus. It has a faculty of 19 dedicated professionals supporting the institution, offering 7 degree programmes across various specialisations in Commerce and Computer Applications.

The college is committed to provide students with a conducive learning environment and at the disposal of a student variety of facilities for their academic and personal growth. The library, started with the institution in the 1962, has increased from a small collection of 400 books into a magnificent collection of more than 50,340 books and 46 periodicals. In respect of female students, the college offers them a special facility of the girls' hostel started in 2007-08, which provides pleasant accommodation with 21 rooms. Other facilities within the campus include a well-furnished gymnasium, spacious parking lots for both the staff and students, and a health center with first-aid facilities. Moreover, for the IT-savvy environment, each lecturer room is equipped with a modern IT setup inclusive of a projector, computer, speakers, and internet connection. 

CD Jain College of Commerce encompasses courses that fit well within various academic interests and career aspirations that exist in this world. The college offers 7 full-time courses at UG, PG and Doctoral levels. At the undergraduate level there are courses in B.Com, BCA and BBA on Computer applications Stream. The college provides opportunities for advanced studies since at the postgraduate level the college offers M.Com and MCA on commerce. It also provides opportunities for research through their Ph.D. and M. Phil programmes in the Department of Commerce. 

The admission process at CD Jain College of Commerce is intended to carry out the norms of Savitribai Phule Pune University, the government, and the college in a transparent and unambiguous manner. Admission to undergraduate courses, for example, B.Com, is based on merit. BBA in Computer Applications admissions are based on a Common Entrance Test, which the students need to qualify.
