Center for Research in Art of Film and Television (CRAFT), New Delhi, is a post-graduate film, television, media, and allied arts institution offering diploma courses. CRAFT admission process is formulated to identify eager and talented aspirants for its courses. CRAFT admits students every year, usually placing calls for interview in October.

Application Process
The application process for CRAFT is simple and follows this order:
1. Online Application: Candidates have to apply online via the official CRAFT website.
2. Payment of Application Fee: Rs. 1,000 application fee to be paid. Payment can be done through Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking. On-campus applicants can even make a payment through cash in the institute.
3. Documents to be uploaded: No such documents to upload are specified, but the candidates normally have to upload educational certificates, age proof, and portfolio or work samples.
4. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are shortlisted for interview. The interview dates are posted on the website of the institute.
5. Selection and Admission: The successful candidates, based on performance in the interview, are shortlisted for admission to their preferred courses.
6. Fee Payment: The candidates have to pay the fee of courses after they are shortlisted. Fee is program-dependent, and these range from Rs. 95,000 to Rs. 150,000 based on courses.
Degree wise Admission Process
Diploma in Film Direction and Screenplay: It has a class strength of 20. The selection is done through an interview system where the applicants' filmmaking knowledge as well as creative potential are assessed.
Diploma in Cinematography: The course, with a class strength of 20, also adopts an interview-type selection system where the candidate's visual sense and technical competence are analyzed.
Diploma in Advertisement and Diploma in Public Relations: Both of these courses have 10 seats. Shortlisting of candidates is carried out on the basis of interviews keeping in view the communication ability and creative mind of the candidate.
Diploma in TV Journalism & News Reading: The course has 10 seats and shortlists candidates on communication skills, knowledge of current affairs, and on-screen personality by holding interviews.
Diploma in Photography: The program has 10 seats, and the selection is by interview to test the candidate's visual imagination and technical knowledge of photography.
Diploma in Production Design, Diploma in Editing, and Diploma in Event Management: All three programs have 10 seats. The selection is by interviews designed to test skills that are specific to each of these fields.
Diploma in Sound Recording and Audio Engineering and Diploma in Electronic Music Production: These diplomas are specialized and each has 5 seats. The choice is made through interviews that evaluate the candidate's technical skill and passion for audio production.
