Central India Institute of Mass Communication, Nagpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Central India Institute of Mass Communication is one of the well-known educational hubs in Nagpur, Maharashtra, dating back to 1997. This co-ed institute, located at Ashirwad Theater Complex on Great Nag Road, has grown in these past two decades while shaping the future of media and communication professionals. The institute offers eight courses under three degree programs, covering almost every genre of mass communication and design. This faculty of nine dedicated professionals ensures that in the institute, personalized attention and quality education are available to the students. 

The facilities at CIIMCOM are numerous, all oriented toward enhancing the learning experience for its students. It has a well-stocked library that enables students to get access to large resources in the areas of media, communication, and design. The college has sports facilities that help students maintain a balance between work and other physical activities. Not forgetting the importance of technology in modern education, CIIMCOM is well established in IT infrastructure to help students excel in this digital world. There is a cafeteria on campus that provides a dedicated area where students can rest and socialize between classes. Auditoriums serve as resources for a number of events, seminars, cultural activities, and thus provide a boost to the campus life. As far as academics are concerned, the institute has much extensive courses in mass communication and design. 

CIIMCOM offers eight full-time courses bothundergraduate and postgraduate. One of the important courses under the flagship category is the BJ program with an intake of 100 students. The other popular courses are the BFD and Bachelor of Textile Design with 80 students each. Other interesting courses include Bachelor of Fashion Business Management, Bachelor of Jewellery Design, and Bachelor of Khadi Production and Design with an intake of 120 students each. For advanced studies, CIIMCOM offers a 60-seat Master of Fashion Design program and a Master of Textile Design course.
