CIFNET Kochi Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET) is a revered institution of maritime non-technical education. The institute plays a technical role in the future of naval science and the fisheries industry in India, with its location in the coastal city of Kochi, Kerala. 10. Enrollment: Finally, after the successful completion of all the steps listed above, enrolled candidates will become members of the B.F.Sc Nautical Science program at CIFNET Kochi.

B.F.Sc in Nautical Science: Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc) with Nautical Science is the flagship program of CIFNET Kochi. It is a four-year, full-time program imparting comprehensive knowledge and skills to students in nautical science in order to prepare them for lucrative careers in the maritime sector. The program has an approved intake of 40 students from every academic year, assuring a favorable student-to-teacher ratio for good delivery of education. 

Admission to the B.F.Sc in Nautical Science program is through the Common Entrance Test (CET) and on merit based on academic performance. This is a highly competitive process meant to select candidates possessing an aptitude and potential for the area of nautical science. Applicants will be required to have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualifications with science subjects as their basis and to meet any minimum percentage stipulated by the institute.
