Application Process

There are a few ways through which students can undergo the application process for CIPET Murthal:

1. Entrance Exam: B.Tech aspirants should apply and appear for either the CIPET Joint Entrance Exam (CIPET JEE) or other recognized engineering entrance examinations.

2. Application Form: Eligible candidates fill out the CIPET Murthal application form immediately following the announcement of the entrance exam results. This usually is mentioned on the official CIPET website.

3. Document Submission: All essential documents must be prepared and submitted. This usually includes:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates,
  • Scorecard obtained from entrance exam, Category certificate (if applicable),
  • Recent pass port size photographs,
  • Other documents laid out in the admission notification.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech Plastic Technology: This B-Tech is offered by CIPET Murthal with a seat intake of 60 students. Admission to the B-Tech is done on the basis of ranks obtained in engineering entrance examinations. For eligibility, candidates must have completed a 10+2 education with core subjects in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Diploma Programs: There are two diploma courses - one is Diploma in Plastics Technology, and the second is Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology, with each having an intake of 60 students. Admission to these diploma programs depends on the score in CIPET JEE. A typical eligibility requirement is12th pass with PCM subjects.

Registration is done on the basis of CIPET JEE. This PGD which stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Processing and Testing has the largest intake capacity of 90 seats. Qualification for applying is a relevant degree at undergraduate level.
Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Design with CAD CAM: The program should be offered on an exclusive number of 30 seats. Admission will take place through CIPET JEE for candidates who have completed an appropriate diploma or degree program.
