Central Modern Teachers Training College, Jodhpur is an affiliated college of Rajasthan, India which was started in the year 2006. It is a co-educational institution with the emphasis on offering teacher education, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The college is located on a 2-acre plot and currently has a B.Ed programme with an overall enrollment capacity of 632. The faculty strength of the institute is 27 teachers that means student teacher ration is also good for every student who wants to become a teacher.

The college has developed a number of amenities that are intended to support students’ learning processes. A good library can be considered as information center, which is necessary for a teacher training process, as many sources are required. It also has department laboratories where the learner can practically undergo practicals within his department of study. An auditorium supports programs and presentations, education, and enlightenment essential in the society. Another facility of the college is also focused on the students needs with a health center for first aid. In line with contemporary practices in institute, the institute has put in place excellent IT facilities. Central Modern Teachers Training College follows a sequential approach in its program offerings with its hallmark of the B.Ed program. This is an A’ Level course offered in two years full time with an approved capacity of 200 students per academic year. The purpose of the program is to prepare potential teachers for the educational process with knowledge and skills needed for successful functioning. However, the college offers higher education in only this one degree, and all aspects of the experience are designed with the development of future educators in mind.
