The Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Berhampore is the premier institute for developments of sericulture in India. This 76-year-old institute is located at Berhampore, West Bengal and works under the Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Spread over 63 acres of campus, CSRTI-Berhampore stands tall like a beacon of excellence in sericultural education and research. The PGD programme in Mulberry has an intake capacity of 40 students, and the PGD programme in Vanya Silk has its admission capacity of 20 students.
