One of the best institutes for training future teachers was established in the form of a Central Women's College of Education, Lucknow, in 2004. This women-only college, situated in Sector-8, Rajni Khand, Sharda Nagar Yojna, Lucknow, is affiliated and permitted by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi.
