The Centre for Biotechnology CB PIMS was established in the year 2001 at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni which is a constituent College of the University. The college is a co-education college situated in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, which offers medical biotechnology. This campus occupies 0 acres of land and at the moment has 39 registered students. The centre closely has a total of 3 members in the faculty and 2 of the following degree programmes, Medical Biotechnology. The above points indicate that the institute is serious with issues to do with quality education, prompted by its focused curriculum as well as other specialised courses offered. 

This Centre for Biotechnology has several facilities that will improve the learning experience of these students. At the Centre for Biotechnology we have two full time courses in the area of medical biotechnology. The centre is focused essentially on medical biotechnology that equipped students with specific knowledge and skills in this still developing area.
