The Centre for Teachers Training and Research Institute, Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal, is an institution solely built for the purpose of training future teachers. In the case of the B.Ed programme, admission shall be on the basis of merit, taking into account marks secured in the qualifying examination and entrance examination, as may be followed by other selection procedures as laid down by the policies of state government/Union Territory administration, and the concerned university. Admission to D.El.Ed is also merit-based, that is, on the basis of the qualifying examination's marks and entrance test, issued in conformity with the policies prescribed by the state government.
