Century Foundation College of Education, Nallur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Century Foundation College of Education, Nallur, was established in the year of 2007 and is a co-educational Institution situated at Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college has approval of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), respectively. Although the college occupies only a 1.69 acre land, it has a student strength of 79 persons and 8 teachers. This college offers only one programme an approved enrolment of 100 students.

Century Foundation College of Education has made available various facilities that are meant to improve the students’ learning process in their college. A library plays an informative role in providing a good resource of subject-matter books and journals. For the pragmatic purposes of learning, the institution possesses numerous instructional facilities such as Psychology Lab, Computer Lab, Digital Language Lab, Educational Technology Lab, and Physical and Biological Sciences Lab. An auditorium is ideal for events and seminar occasions so as to give academic life a boost. The college also has cafeterias, sporting facilities ,and a shop for students’ daily needs. In particular, the college has free transport facility for the students travelling from Tiruppur and other neighboring districts meaning that more students are able to access college education.

Century Foundation College of Education offers only B.Ed programme which is a two years full semester programme. This specialisation makes it easier for the institution to devote its efforts to making sure that trained teachers are produced. 

The admission process is taken as per the rules and regulations framed by the state government, university and Union Territory administration. The admission process is also merit based where marks scored in the qualifying examination and/ or entrance examination are taken into account. The college may also use other methods of selection as dictated by existing policy.
