Ch Matu Ram College of Education, Kurukshetra came into existence in 2007. This is an affiliated college located in Village Jainpur Jattan, Thanesar, Kurukshetra, Haryana. The institute has been granted recognisation by NCTE and offers two courses in the education stream. This co-educational college, Ch Matu Ram College of Education, has a 3-acre campus with an enrolment of 453 students and a strength of 38 in its faculty. 

This college has different facilities to support the learning environment of students. A well-equipped library provides the necessary environment conducive for studying. The library has separate sections for reference books and journals. Modern and latest state-of-the-art technology has been provided in the computer laboratory for practical learning. Ch Matu Ram College of Education offers two regular courses in the education stream. The courses are Bachelor of Education, two-year duration, and D.Ed. in Education, also of two-year duration. 

The admission process in Ch Matu Ram College of Education is mainly on a merit basis. It is conducted through the state university.The selection procedure of candidates for the B.Ed. program is basically on the basis of academic merit.
